A Family Affair
We chose our name because of how sticky our kitchen seemed to be after every honey extraction, sometimes weeks later we would still be finding sticky patches! We all take turns to work with the bees, inspect our colonies and collect the honey at our rural property in Parkland County, AB
Best Practises
We keep up to date with the currently accepted best practises for humane bee care, pest management and hygienic honey processing. This allows us to provide you with delicious local honey!
Busy as bees
A hive of 40,000 or more female workers works together to collect nectar and pollen, to make honey and to raise young bees.
Gentle and calm
Our honeybees are very calm but we do use smoke when inspecting them. This triggers their natural response to forest fires, which is to gorge themselves on honey, making them much more docile.
